Alan is the former owner of Mr. Alan’s Shoes & Sportswear.

His heart and soul is rooted in his fatherhood of 5 children and 4 grandchildren.  He is a dog lover & rescuer.  He is a visionary for Real estate development & community growth.  He will keep planting seeds for bloom in the garden of Pontiac.



Stacy has always been a community-based pioneer and has organized a variety of community initiatives over the years. She is the visionary behind the Pontiac Farmer's Market. 
With a background from MSU in Child Development & Human Services, she is a certified child & family yoga teacher, meditation instructor, reiki master/teacher & plant-based chef.

Don is a visionary executive, known for goals-driven leadership style, astute business acumen, and leading-edge ability to motivate people. High-energy entrepreneur with diverse background offers considerable knowledge and experience in sales and marketing, engineering, business development,
finance, banking, and corporate turnarounds.



Board Member

Vernita is a graduate of The University of Michigan with a BA in English and Communications.  She has traveled extensively abroad and studied in Salamanca and Madrid, Spain.  

Vernita is a proud member of Welcome Missionary Baptist Church where she serves as President of the Civic Committee Ministry. 


Vernita also serves as Co-Chair of the Committee of 50, which is an organization of community and business leaders involved in discussing, developing, and executing solutions for the City of Pontiac. She is a former President of the Pontiac Rotary Club.


Vernita is constantly recruited and considered for several Boards and distinguished appointments.  

She recently served on two transition teams for the City of Pontiac’s new Mayor.


Vernita is currently an elected official and Trustee on the City of Pontiac Public Library Board.  She also serves on the Board of Directors for Pontiac’s Main Street Pontiac, as well as Vice-Chair of Flagstar Bank’s Pontiac’s Big Idea Program.  Most Recently, Vernita is the Mayoral Appointee and Civic Engagement Liaison for the Pontiac-Oakland University Initiative, which aims to advocate for our Community by partnering with surrounding authorities to offer their experiences, knowledge, and resources.

Mr. Gibb has spent nearly three decades advising corporations, individuals, and governments to develop and manage complex programs, initiatives, and policies. He is known for creative problem solving, particularly in business development and workforce demand, where he is a noted advocate for non-traditional life-long learning. In 2011, Mr. Gibb was appointed Deputy Oakland County Executive overseeing all Economic Development and Community Affairs aspects in Michigan’s most affluent community.


He was the principal leader of several initiatives, including; Medical Main Street, Emerging Sectors, One Stop Ready, TECH248, the Connected Car Task Force, Elite40, and Oakland NEXT. 


In February 2018, Mr. Gibb launched Charter Course Legal, a company providing advanced strategy and policies in re-purposing distressed communities and helping the government find a state of readiness for development, along with Blue Rhubarb, a consulting group focused on advising and connecting advanced mobility companies and regions on the pathways to deployment. He brings subject matter experts directly to organizational leadership through an extensive personal network, combining his creative problem solving with implementable solutions.
